WHO WE ARE
Steve leads the range of activities and advisory services undertaken by FPL Advisory for clients in the private, government and not-for-profit sectors.
Steve has significant experience in developing and delivering long term reform programs for clients in addition to strategic engagement advice and execution activities.
With experience as an adviser and Chief of Staff and his previous and current roles in the corporate sector, Steve has a comprehensive understanding of the tensions and demands across the government, business and not-for-profit divide.
With significant experience across many industries, he also has a range of specific policy and commercial interests including inter-generational issues, regulatory disruption and the inherent logic of flexible workplaces for the evolving economy.
Steve holds a Master of Commerce (International Trade and Business) and holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Electronic and Communications). He is also a Member of the Institute of Engineers, a Certified Practising Engineer (CPEng) and holds Engineering Executive status.

Manager - Communications
Catriona is a communications professional, supporting the broad range of stakeholder engagement activity at FPL Advisory.
Catriona has experience across a range of communications and project management matters in a public sector context. She has significant knowledge of the processes and principles of strategic stakeholder engagement, community marketing campaigns and public and media relations. Building on her interests in economics, environmental management and urban planning, Catriona understands the need for communications to support policy outcomes.
Catriona holds a Masters of Planning and a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Economics.

Emily is a client relationship specialist with an interest in Australian and international foreign policy.
Emily has experience working with major international stakeholders, liaising with both large and small scale organisations and consulting for corporate businesses. Emily recognises that providing support through strategic engagement and policy analysis are critical to government effectiveness. She believes that excellent policy advice relies on identifying and anticipating needs, close research and evaluation of situational factors and prompt identification of areas for development and growth.
Emily holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) majoring in International Relations and Asian Studies. She holds a Diploma of Language in Mandarin, inspired by living and working in rural China for several years.

Stefan is a critical thinker with an interest in public policy and working with stakeholders to communicate more effectively with government.
Stefan has experience working in policy and business settings with non-profit organisations in the Indigenous sector and sports administration. Stefan understands the challenge of working with and for governments, and how important policy analysis and strategic engagement can be in finding the best solutions. He believes critical analysis and effective collaboration are key areas to achieving desired outcomes. Stefan’s underlying drivers are to make a meaningful contribution to his community and positively impact those around him.
